During the first Covid lockdown in spring 2020, 18 professional violists from different European countries recorded the 25 Etudes for Viola Solo by Bartoloméo Bruni. The recordings were done with the respective available technical means of the musicians and were then acoustically coordinated by a sound engineer. The project was inspired by the online album „The Campagnoli Project“, where 41 French violists recorded the Caprices for Solo Viola by the Italian composer Bartolomeo Campagnoli.
